Fly traps & insect killers
Gleecon GB-30BL Dual LED Fly Killer
LED ultraviolet instead of fluorescent tubes: 90 square metres, and nothing to replace yearly.
About
What it is for
Fluorescent UV tubes fade before they fail, which is why they carry a six-month warranty and need swapping annually whether or not they still light. The GB-30BL uses ultraviolet LEDs instead, and they hold their output for years, so the running cost is the electricity and nothing else. Coverage is 90 square metres, more than any of our tube units except the XG10, and it can hang from a ceiling or sit on a wall depending on where the light will carry furthest. It kills on a grid rather than a board, so it belongs back-of-house; but for a warehouse or workshop it will outlast several tube units. LED tubes rather than fluorescent, which means no tube replacement on the usual cycle and lower running cost over the life of the unit. With 90 square metres of coverage it suits a larger back of house space, a warehouse aisle or a commercial corridor.
