Commercial
The sectors we work in
Every trade has its own pest problem, its own audit regime and its own tolerance for disruption. These are the ones we hold contracts in, and what each of them actually involves.
Restaurants and kitchens
A commercial kitchen is the hardest room we work in, and the reason is simple: it offers pests warmth, water and food continuously, and it cannot be closed while we deal with them.
Hotels and guesthouses
Hotels and guesthouses have a problem most premises do not: the people affected by a pest issue are paying to be there, and they write about it.
Warehouses and distribution
A warehouse is a large volume with a small number of things worth protecting, and pest control here is mostly about the perimeter and about the stock, not about the space in between. Rodents are the main issue by a distance.
Factories and food production
Food production has the least tolerance for pests of any sector we work in, and the requirements are usually written down somewhere by a customer or a certification body.
Hospitals and clinics
Healthcare premises need pest control that is planned around vulnerable people, and the constraints are tighter than anywhere else.
Schools and childcare
Schools and childcare settings have one rule that outranks everything else: nothing may be applied where children can reach it, and nothing may be left behind.
Offices and retail
Offices and shops have a lower pest burden than kitchens or warehouses, and the problems that do arise are usually about the building rather than about hygiene.
