A fogger turns liquid into a cloud fine enough to reach where a sprayer cannot: roof spaces, drains, dense planting and the awkward voids behind fixed equipment. Thermal foggers use heat and produce the visible white fog most people picture, which makes coverage easy to see as you work. ULV machines produce a cold mist instead, with no heat and no fuel, so they can be used indoors and around electrics where a thermal unit would be unsafe. Choose on where you will work rather than on output alone. If most of your jobs are interiors, a cold ULV or a switchable unit is the safer buy.
