D23 Professional Wall-Mounted Sticky UV Fly Trap

The D23 is the unit that goes up in commercial kitchens by default, and there is a reason it has become the default. Eighteen watts across two 9-watt UVA tubes is enough for a working kitchen without the running cost of a thirty-watt unit; the glue board keeps every insect intact and contained, which is what an inspector wants to see; and the wall mounting keeps it clear of benches and traffic. Tubes are covered for six months and the unit for a year, which is a fair reflection of the fact that UV tubes are a consumable and the case is not. A glue board rather than an electric grid, which is what makes this suitable for food preparation areas: insects are caught intact on the board instead of being shattered over whatever is below. At 18 watts it is a back of house unit for kitchens, prep rooms and stores.
